At least two injuries are being reported due to problems with driver side air bags.
More than 250 000 trucks sold in Canada are being recalled by Fiat Chrysler.
This is due to problems with the driver side air bag and steering in Ram pickups.
Globally, more than 1. 3 million vehicles are being recalled for inspection and to service a steering wheel harness that can become worn and cause the air bag to deploy.
So far there have been two related injuries, but no accidents.
The vehicles affected include Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks and 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs. All are from the 2012 through 2014 model years.
