Three snowmobiles collided just outside Courtland Saturday morning, killing one person and sending another to hospital.
COURTLAND - A 44-year-old from Port Dover has died in a snowmobile crash just outside Courtland.
Three snowmobiles collided on a trail somewhere between Byerlay Side Road and 1st Concession Road Saturday morning. The Norfolk OPP got the call at around 10:50 a.m. that day
Police say the 44-year-old was driving one of the vehicles and another driver also had to be airlifted to hospital. The third driver was not hurt.
The investigation is ongoing at this time, so anyone with information should call the Norfolk OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
