Norfolk OPP are investigating an evening collision that claimed the life of a 25 year old Norfolk woman.

It happened at 7:40 p.m. last evening involving a pick up truck and an SUV.
Police say the SUV was travelling eastbound on McDowell Road West, attempting to turn into a driveway - when the driver of a pickup truck attempted to pass vehicles travelling in the same direction and collided with the SUV.
A 25-year-old female driver of Norfolk County was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 26-year-old male passenger of the SUV of Norfolk County was air - lifted to a Hamilton area hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
The male driver of the pickup truck, a 23-year-old of Norfolk County was taken to local hospital by ambulance.
UPDATE (July 26th @ 1:20 p.m.) - Norfolk OPP have identified the deceased woman as 25 year old Maria Klassen of Norfolk County. They add her 26 year old male passenger - Abram Enns Klassen - has also succumbed to his injuries.
