East-Zorra Tavistock Mayor Don McKay is looking to add another four years to his term as mayor.
EAST-ZORRA TAVISTOCK- The past 11 years, Don McKay has been mayor of East-Zorra Tavistock. McKay has filed his papers to add another four years to that total.
In addition to being Mayor, McKay is also the Warden of Oxford County Council.
McKay says he hopes to continue his work in the township. "...enjoyed the challenge, the opportunities and I put myself forward again as a willing candidate, if the people in East Zorra are happy I would be glad to serve for another term."
As for what he plans to tackle going forward. "I don't think there is anything pressing issues what's important is that council deals with what comes up as it comes up in an open transparent manner and ensures that the best interests in the rate payers are brought to mind."
McKay is currently the only person running for mayor in EZT.
