An emergency road closure is in place at the railway crossing on Norwich Avenue and Wilson Street this morning. Both north and southbound lanes are closed due to a broken crossing arm that was hit by a driver overnight. Woodstock Police Staff Sgt. Sweezey says it's not known at this point (6:20am) how long the closure will be in effect. Sweezey says a CN Representative has been called in to assess the problem.
