Ontario residents are heading to the polls to vote in the municipal election.
OXFORD COUNTY -- It's election day in Ontario.
Residents will be hitting the polls across the province as municipalities select their mayors and councillors for the next four-year term.
In Woodstock, polls will be open today from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at:
The Rock Community Church on Nellis Street
Unifor Hall (formerly CAW Hall) on Beale Street
Goff Hall at the Community Complex on Finkle Street
Cowan Park on Ridgewood Drive.
Roving Polls are also available for residents and patients of these locations:
Park Place Retirement - 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Oxford Gardens - 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Caressant Care - 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Woodingford Lodge - 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Woodstock Hospital - 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The town of Ingersoll, South-West Oxford, East-Zorra Tavistock and Zorra Township have used mail-in ballots. Residents have until 8:00 pm to drop off ballots that were not mailed out before the deadline. In Ingersoll,those ballots can be dropped off at the Town Hall office or in Town Hall drop box. For the other locations, ballots can be dropped off at the municipal offices.
Tillsonburg residents can visit the Community Centre from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm to cast their ballots today while those in Norwich and Blandford-Blenheim will visit assigned polling stations.
