The Optimist Club of Norwich and District will be hosting its Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 19th.
NORWICH - Spring has officially started, which means Easter is around the corner.
Easter egg hunts will be happening around Oxford County and the Norwich event is coming up.
Kathy Keery, a Director for the Optimist Club or Norwich and District, says their event will be taking place in Harold Bishop Park once again.
"It's being held Saturday, April 19th. It begins at 10:45 a.m. and kids can expect lots of treats, lots of prizes and even a visit from our Easter Bunny."
She adds there will be different times for different age groups.
"We have 5 and under that starts at 10:45 a.m. and kids over 5 will be at 11:00 a.m."
Keery says there will be no chocolate in the eggs, but there will be prize tickets so kids can pick something from the prize table. She mentions there will also be 10 lucky golden basket tickets.
Each child will also go home with their own goodie bag, and the Optimist Club will be serving hotdogs to all of the families atferward.
The event is free to attend.
