A 23-year-old from Toronto is in hot water. The driver was pulled over in Norfolk County after being spotted on a handheld communication device. They are now facing multiple charges.
TOWNSEND - The West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team has laid several charges.
Just after 3:30 p.m. last Friday, a traffic stop was conducted on Norfolk County Road 19 in Townsend, as a driver was spotted using a handheld communication device while driving.
A 23-year-old from Toronto is now facing 7 different charges.
The charges include; driving while using a handheld communication device, driving without a licence, driving without a current valid permit, failure to surrender a permit for the vehicle, having an overweight vehicle - violating a permit in kilograms, operating a vehicle and failing to display inspection sticker or proof, and having an insecure load.
