Bikes and scooters are out now that the mild weather has arrived. But as one local family found out the hard way, an unsecured bike is an opportunity for thieves. A 14-year-old Woodstock boy had his bike stolen right from his front porch Saturday afternoon. Cameron Chorostil says it was only left unattended for an hour. "I got back from riding it then I put it up on the porch. I went in to eat dinner then I came back out, we were going to go for a walk and we noticed that the bike wasn't there". Cameron says he relies on the bike to a number of tasks. "Delivering papers, running with my dog, biking over to help my grandparents and just biking around town". It's described as a pistachio green "Hutch" bike with an MSR sticker on it. Any information should be called into Woodstock Police at 537-2323.
