On Monday members from CUPE 1146 presented Operation Sharing, The Inn and DASO each with a $5,000 cheque.
WOODSTOCK - Members of CUPE 1146 were in the giving spirit this holiday season.
On Monday they made donations to three local charities, DASO, The Inn and Operation Sharing. Each charity was given $5,000.
CUPE 1146 features workers from the City of Woodstock and from Oxford County Human Services and Waste Water. DASO will be using the money to help cover the costs of recent renovations.
Operation Sharing and The Inn will use the money to help purchase supplies, such as groceries and cleaning products.
