A 26 year old driver has been charged with several offences after crashing a stolen vehicle while impaired.
BRANT COUNTY - Police were called to a crash on Wednesday around approximately 1:30 p.m. on Rest Acres Road in Paris.
After investigating officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol they also discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
The 26 year old driver Ashlynn Maracle of Six Nations was a charged with a number of offences including;
- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drugs
- Operation while impaired - with a blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
- Dangerous Driving Contrary to Section
- Possession of Property Obtained by crime under $5000 Contrary to Section
- Possession of Break and Enter tools Contrary to Section
Maracle is scheduled to appear in a Brantford court at a later date.
