The Crown called Bradley Gilbert the oldest step sibling of Amy Gilbert to the stand Monday afternoon. Gilbert told the court he had only met Robinson or as he was known "Doug" twice. He told the court the couple asked if they could borrow a 6 foot garden spade shovel, and 2 rakes to plant some rosebushes. Alicia Praught, Bradley's wife also took the stand Monday afternoon. She told the court the last time she saw Robinson was in late August or early September when he helped fix their truck. She said the couple borrowed two rakes, a shovel and a bow saw, to fill holes on the property caused by the landlord. Praught testified she didn't see the tools again until close to Halloween, when her husband planned to do some yard work. Robinson meanwhile appeared calm throughout the day while listening to the testimony. He is accused of 1st degree murder in the death of Clifford Fair. Fair's remains were found buried in the back yard where Robinson lived. He's pleaded guilty to indignity to a body. The trial continues tomorrow.
