Oxford County needs your help to create a ten year housing and homelessness plan. Community Planning Analyst Meredith Maywood says through a new online survey, they're looking for feedback on experiences with housing from anyone living in Oxford County. "It's all part of a housing and homelessness plan. It's part of a 10-year strategy that the County of Oxford is developing...it's a comprehensive plan that will look at all aspects of housing from home ownership to rental housing to homelessness." Maywood says the survey deal with basic questions ranging from what type of housing you have, the cost of your shelter and what kinds of supports you benefit from. Maywood says there are two additional surveys available including one for landlords and one for people who work or volunteer with an agency or shelter. The survey can be found on the County's website here and is open until May 30th.
