One of the key organizers of the Ottawa "Freedom Convoy" demonstrations has been granted bail.
Freedom Convoy organizer Pat King has been granted bail.
The decision was delivered in an Ottawa courtroom this morning.
King was back in court last week, after an April hearing was abruptly halted.
The next day, the Crown announced King was getting charges with three counts each of perjury and obstruction of justice, in addition to the 10 charges he already faced in connection to the demonstrations.
The convoy gridlocked downtown Ottawa for three weeks this year, in protest against COVID-19 mandates.
The previous charges included mischief and obstructing police.
