You can expect lane closures at the intersection starting today.
WOODSTOCK - A northbound right turn lane will be coming to the Springbank Ave and Parkinson Road intersection in Woodstock.
The project will be starting this week and includes safety features such as improved sidewalks and pedestrian crosswalks.
Project Engineer, Noah Brister talks about the road closure timeline.
"We'll be starting with partial lane closures within the intersection and the approaching roads with some outside work and we're not really closing down any of the roads until sometime in July. We anticipate closing the south lane of Springbank which will be from Parkinson down to Keyes Drive."
The county asks for residents to be patient and wants you to know the construction should be done by September.
