Volunteers can find a cause that fits them best during the 3rd Annual Community Volunteer Recruitment Fair.
Community organizations needing volunteers are encouraged to join the 3rd Annual Community Volunteer Recruitment Fair.
Strategist Sylvie Morin encourages all kinds of groups to register and take part.
"Come out and showcase your stuff - let us know what your projects are. Attract the right people, engage in a face to face conversation; that's my favourite part. People come out and have that actual one on one conversation about what they need and what fits for them."
Morin says this is a great opportunity for organizations and volunteers to connect.
"The exhibitors will give out pamphlets about their works, their agencies, some of their current volunteer staffers will be at this event and engage in those conversations. It's a one stop shop. See what you want to get involved in and what fits for you and your skill set."
It will be happening on March 12th at Cowan Park.
Any groups interested in booking a table can contact Morin at 226-228-8390. Tables are $25 each.
