Viewcon buying more land in Woodstock
Viewcon Construction has bought up another 1.4 acres in the CommerceWay Business Park.
The company purchased the land that would originate from the southern portion of their existing site westerly to the new roadway entrance onto Beard's Lane.
The land is intended to be used as an entrance and provide them with a safer route to move their float trailers on and off site especially once traffic lights are installed at the intersection of Parkinson Road and Beard's Lane.
Due to the state of the land as well as the fact the City wouldn't have to provide servicing extensions to the site, Viewcon got the land at a discounted price of $79,700 instead of the $98,000 it would have cost otherwise.
