A 33-year-old Port Rowan resident has tragically passed away after being involved in a collision on Hwy 59.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A two-vehicle collision ends in tragedy in Oxford County.
Oxford OPP and other first responders attended the scene of a crash involving a pick-up truck and motorcycle on Highway 59 and Substation Road in the Township of Norwich. As a result of the collision the motorcycle driver, a 33-year-old of Port Rowan was airlifted to hospital by Ornge, where they were pronounced dead. The pick-up truck driver sustained minor injuries.
Road closures are in effect on Highway 59 at Gunn's Hill Road and Beaconsfield Road. Police are asking motorists to please obey the road closure signs.
