Investigators are looking to speak to the driver of the pickup truck, which was described to have a wooden trailer with a spare tire located on the side.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk County OPP were called to an incident in Simcoe.
OPP and EMS arrived on scene at approximately 10:24 a.m on March 27th, after the woman was struck by a pickup truck that was towing a wooden trailer.
The driver of the truck stopped to help the woman to her feet, however he left before police arrived. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
Investigators are looking to speak to the driver of the pickup truck, which was described to have a wooden trailer with a spare tire located on the side. They are urging the driver to contact police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
Inspector and Detachment Commander for Norfolk County OPP, Joseph Varga says drivers and pedestrians need to be aware of their surroundings at all times.
"The OPP would like the motoring public to be aware of their surroundings at all times when they get behind the wheel of any vehicle. Pedestrians are also being urged to put their safety as a priority and to be cautious when crossing any street or parking lots."
