The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser in Woodstock has raised over $154,000 for The Inn of Oxford County with four-days remaining in the campaign.
WOODSTOCK - There's less than a week left for the Coldest Night of the Year, and the Woodstock campaign has surpassed it's fundraising goal once again.
The campaign surpassed it's original fundraising goal of $100,000 earlier this month, so the organizers set a new fundraising goal of $150,000. As of this morning, the campaign raised a total of $154,337 for The Inn of Oxford County. The Woodstock campaign raised over $82,000 last year.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a national campaign and the Woodstock fundraiser is currently the second most successful in Canada, right behind Surrey Cloverdale. A total of 167 locations across the country are participating and they have raised a combined total of $7,623,212 so far. The national fundraising goal is $10,000,000.
There will be a Coldest Night of the Year walk in Woodstock on Saturday February 26th. Sixty-two teams, 357 walkers and 42 volunteers have signed up for the event so far.
You can donate to the Coldest Night of the Year Woodstock fundraiser or register for the walk online here.
