Fans of Bugs Bunny and Warner Brothers will be able to see their favorite cartoon character at this weekend's Fall Exhibitions at the Woodstock Art Gallery.
WOODSTOCK - Bugs Bunny will be appearing the Fall Exhibitions this weekend.
The lovable bunny, along with other Warner Brothers characters, will be taking over the 2nd floor in the Woodstock Art Gallery on November 10th.
Director/Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery Mary Reid says fans of all ages will be able to learn more about Bugs Bunny and Warner Brothers through a variety of ways.
"We have original drawings, cells, paintings, model sheets; all kinds of things in terms of the construction of when they did animation, literally by hand, as opposed to being computer-generated."
Reid adds that one the original drawings on display will be from Canadian cartoonist Charles Thorson, who came up with one of the first concept drawings for Bugs Bunny.
She says it's a presentation everyone can enjoy.
"I grew up on these cartoons, my parents grew up on these cartoons and presumably people's grandchildren can be introduced to them for the first time.
The event will also include a walk and talk with artist Gary Spearin and The Loved Object: Recent Acquisitions in the Dr. Leonard Reeves Gallery.
The event goes from 2-4pm and it is free to the public.
