Innerkip is the place to be to get into the Christmas spirit this weekend.
INNERKIP - This Weekend you can get your festive spirits up at the 9th Annual Innerkip Santa Claus Parade happening this Saturday night.
You can also join Santa for breakfast at the fire hall between 9 to 11AM on Saturday morning. Community Volunteer, Mert McMahon talks about the fun they will have after the parade on Saturday night.
"After we go to the Presbyterian Church, Santa Claus will be there. The kids come and get a bag of candy and meet Santa Claus. There will be hot chocolate, cider and coffee with cookies for all."
McMahon also talks about the house decorating contest happening on Friday night.
"Friday night is the house decoration contest. We go out around and judge and then give the best houses a gift. It starts around 6:30PM and finishes up around 8:30PM. We give away 6 or 7 prizes for the best decorated houses."
The parade starts at 6pm along Brandford Street and will be collecting food and toy donations for their Food and Toy Drive.
