A 24-year-old driver from Aylmer is facing impaired driving charges.
THAMES CENTRE - No one was hurt but a 24-year-old from Aylmer has been charged after a vehicle fire in Thames Centre.
Emergency crews were called out to the blaze on Putnam Road at around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday June 13th.
The Middlesex OPP officers had reason to believe the driver of the vehicle had been drinking, so they administered a breathalyzer test, which he failed. He has since been charged with operation while impaired, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
