Canada Post employees could hit the picket lines on Friday.
CANADA - Looks like another Canada Post strike is on the horizon.
The Crown agency has received strike notice from the Canadian Union of postal workers, which could shut down all operations and send 55,000 postal workers to the picket lines Friday morning.
This coincides with a pair of collective agreements that had been extended until until this Thursday.
This would be the second strike in six months for the Canadian Union of Postal workers. The last one was a 32-day walkout in November and December that left millions of holiday letters and parcels in limbo, and resulted in a massive backlog to short through.
