Some temporary workers at Ingersoll's CAMI Automotive could be bumped out of a job in the next couple of months. Some former workers at Electro Motive in London, have been offered jobs at other GM facilities. That includes 145 jobs at CAMI, and 60 at the GM Plant in Oshawa. However, to make way for those workers, if they accept the job, they'll be replacing temp workers at the plants. The provision was negotiated by the CAW in its recent bargaining with GM. It only includes workers who worked at Electro-Motive, when it was owned by GM, prior to 2007. The EMD workers will have until mid-November to consider the offer.
