The event schedule includes the slo-pitch tournament, the parade, the firefighters breakfast, and the fireworks display.
INNERKIP - Canada Day is right around the corner and so is the Innerkip Lions Weekend!
Events will begin with a slo-pitch tournament on June 26th at 5:00 p.m. and will run until June 28th
Innerkip Lions Club Member Scott McKague give us a preview on what to expect.
"On the Friday night we will start off with our softball tournament, the family dance event after the following at the pavilion. Saturday will start with the parade at 10am and then softball kicks off again directly after at 11:00 a.m. and we will play all day and into the night."
He adds this weekend would not be possible without the public's support.
"There will be places to donate, there will be places to e-transfer. This is a community group it is 100% volunteer based there are costs, and we try to save every penny that we can. Donations are appreciated and really required."
The festivities also will include a the Fireman's Breakfast, and will conclude with a fireworks display on Sunday night.
