Workers at CAMI Automotive are closely watching a labour situation with one of their parts suppliers. Martinrea Automotive in London is in the midst of bargaining with 120 workers who have extended their strike deadline. It looms at 11 o'clock Tuesday night. Those workers produce rear-end modules for the vehicles produced at CAMI Automotive. Should they go out on strike, it could disrupt production at CAMI. The Martinrea workers there turned down an earlier tentative deal, looking for a better deal in terms of their expected workload. The good news is the company and CAW Local 27 are at the table, working towards a deal.
