Anyone looking to run for council in Stratford can attend a free information session this evening.
STRATFORD - The City of Stratford is hosting an information meeting for potential candidates tonight.
City staff will go over the role of council, municipal staff and board trustees. They will also provide information on third party advertising, nominations and general campaign rules and election fianaces.
It is a great chance for anyone who is considering running for municipal council this year to learn the proper way to start your campaign. Reprensatives from the City Clerk's office and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
The session starts at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. today.
