A Burgessville resident finds themselves on the wrong side of the law after being caught speeding.
BRANT COUNTY - Brant County OPP has caught a speedster.
Last Wednesday just after 5:45 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Oakland road, as a vehicle was caught going more than 100 km/h in a 50 zone. As a result, an 18-year-old Burgessville resident is facing charges of driving a motor vehicle performing a stunt with excessive speed, and speeding 1 to 49 km/h over the posted limit. The driver also had their licence suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.
The driver will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford later.
