Perhaps trying to head off any issues with irate Hockeyfest site holders, the Brant Conservation Area has announced it will be closed this weekend. They say there will be no overnight camping or day use, and that only seasonal campers will have access to the park. They're also reiterating that anyone that has booked a campsite for Hockeyfest has to arrange for a refund through the event organizers. The ticket agency is apparently e-mailing customers to explain the process.
