Prime Minister Trudeau announced today the border closure with the US will remain in place for another 30 days.
The Canada and US border will remain closed to non essential travel for another 30 days.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the announcement on twitter this afternoon.
Update on the Canada-US border: To protect your health and limit the spread of COVID-19, we’re extending the measures currently in place by another 30 days. Non-essential travel between our two countries remains restricted until June 21st.

Earlier this week, Health Canada announced Canadians could travel across the border to get vaccinated. You would need a doctors note and can only do this in a vehicle.
That news was contractdicted by the US Customs and Bordger Agency who said getting a vaccine is not considered essential and they could prevent you from coming into the US.
