Time is quickly running out if you still need tickets to the Big Night Out Charity Ball for Big Brothers Big Sisters
WOODSTOCK - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District invites everyone to check out their Big Night Out Charity Ball this year.
Formerly known as the Lights and Sirens Ball the evening will feature dinner live music from Ferguson Drive and a dance. Case Worker and Fundraising and Marketing assistant Kristin Ralph tells Heart FM the tickets are $50 and that money will go towards a great cause.
"All of the money raised at the charity ball will go towards our programming, so whether that is group mentoring programs or one on one mentoring it all goes back into our children, providing responsible and positive mentorship for kids and youth in our community."
Ralph says they will also have a live auction and a silent auction at the charity ball happening on November 7th at the Oxford Auditorium. She tells Heart FM right now they have 50 kids on a wait list for big brothers and big sisters.
"One day we hope that we will have a wait list of big brothers and big sisters, but until then we will always be on the lookout for responsible adults who want to spend a couple of hours every week with a child."
Tickets can be purchased at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office in Woodstock.
