It was an exciting Thursday for the Oxford Social Planning Council. They received a grant of $113,200 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The Planning Council is comprised of a wide variety of Oxford County community members. "The Planning Council is designed to make Oxford County a better place to live for all residents," said Carolijn Verbakel is the chair of the council. The grant will be going towards hiring a coordinator to assist council in becoming an effective and sustainable planning organization.
