During State of Union address he targeted Republicans, which earned him being called a liar
U-S President Joe Biden's State of The Union speech was full of protectionist rhetoric and a pro-American economic strategy.
He told Democrats and Republicans alike he's persisting with an America-first approach that's making for anxious allies, including Canada.
He avoided any remarks about the divisions currently plaguing Americans, highlighting that both parties can back U-S factories, new businesses being formed and the funding of 20-thousand infrastructure projects.
The president accused some Republicans of wanting to tank the economy, medicare and social security. That earned him plenty of boos and objections from the Republican side, including being called a liar.
As expected, in response, Republican Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders rebutted the president's claims of economic growth, painting a dystopian portrait of the country with the Democrats in charge.
She also accused them of pursuing ``woke fantasies'' and threatening freedom of speech.
Speaking from the governor's mansion in Little Rock, Sanders warned of a nation whose ideals are under attack and whose citizens need to fight for their freedoms.
