It's Beach Day, so the Norfolk OPP will be patrolling the local beaches to make sure everyone stays safe.
NORFOLK COUNTY - There will be an increased Norfolk OPP presence on the beaches of Long Point, Turkey Point and Port Dover today.
A lot of students usually try to skip school on the first Friday of June for Beach Day.
The Norfolk OPP does not support this event, but officers will be patrolling the beaches to make sure everyone is safe. Officers will be on the lookout for underage drinking, impaired drivers, trespassing, property damage and more.
