Police are reminding everyone to not personalize your kids masks with their names visible. The reason is, you do not want to create a connection for someone to potentially lure the child away from safety.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are asking parents to be cautious about what you are putting on your child's mask when they head back to school in September.
They recently shared a message from the Toronto Police on Facebook. If you're personalizing your child's face mask, use a symbol instead of your child's name. This helps prevent others from using the name on your child's mask to create a connection and lure the child away from safety.
