Brant County OPP is investigating an attempted robbery on Grand River Street in Paris.

PARIS - The Brant OPP is searching for a suspect after an attempted robbery.
This past Friday at 2:20 p.m. officers responded to a financial institution on Grand River Street North in Paris after reports of the attempted robbery. The suspect made a demand to an employee, but ended up leaving on foot without anything.
The suspect is described as male, dark complexion, thin build, black wavy hair, black beard and mustache, and he was wearing dark sunglasses, a black hoodie, black jogging pants and black running shoes
Police are looking for the public's assistance in identifying the male. If anyone was in the area at the time and can provide direction of travel or any possible vehicle descriptors or any residences around William St, Broadway St West and West River St that might have video footage is being asked to call the Brant County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
