Woodstock Police are asking for help identifying a suspect involved in an attempted robbery Sunday afternoon
Police are asking for help identifying a man who attempted to rob the J & P Variety Store.
A man entered the Norwich Avenue business yesterday afternoon around 3:40 p.m. and demanded money telling the owner he had a weapon.
When the store owner refused him, the man fled. He was last seen running on Anne Street toward Maud Street.
The suspect is described as between 5'8 - 6 feet in height and 180 lbs. At the time he was wearing black pants, a rain jacket, black shoes and a light coloured baseball cap. He also wore gloves, sunglasses, and a bandana around his face.
