Brantford Police looking for 30 year old man allegedly involved in stabbing
BRANTFORD - Brantford Police are looking for help in tracking down a 30 year old man wanted for attempted murder.
According to police, a 34 year old Brantford woman was stabbed around 11:15 Sunday night by a man she knew. While she was seriously injured, she was about to make it to a neighbour's home to call for help.
Police are now looking for 30 year old Albert Michael James Hilliker of no fixed address. They say he left the scene in a pickup truck and is considered dangerous and is known to carry knives.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately but not to approach the suspect as he is said to have an extensive criminal past involving violent offences.
The victim required surgery but is recovering in a secure location.
