Police say a man in a white four-door sedan stopped in front of the house on Best Line, where a four-year-old boy was playing alone and the man approached the child and attempted to take him by the hand. The young boy ran inside and immediately told his mother.
BAYHAM - Elgin County OPP are investigating an attempted abduction from a home on Best Line in the Township of Bayham.
Police say a 4-year-old boy was playing by himself on the front porch when he saw a car stop in front of the home.
The male driver of the vehicle approached the child and attempted to take him by the hand. The young boy ran inside and immediately told his mother.
The Township is less than half hour away from Tillsonburg.
The car was last seen pulling away from the front of the home.The man was wearing shorts and possibly sandals, with no shirt, and had a tattoo on one of his arms.
The vehicle is a white four-door sedan with tinted windows.
