Police say the suspect in the armed attempted mugging in Tillsonburg on Sunday has a tattoo of an anchor on his wrist.
UPDATE: 7/30/19 - OPP have released a description of the suspect involved in the daytime armed mugging that happened in Tillsonburg on Sunday between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The male suspect is described as white, between 26-34 years old, about 6' tall with a average build, black hair, wearing blue jeans, a brown coloured hoodie style sweatshirt and running shoes.
The man also has a tattoo of an anchor on his wrist.
TILLSONBURG - A female victim suffered minor injuries after an edged weapon was used in an attempted mugging in Tillsonburg.
Oxford OPP say it happened at a retail store parking lot on Broadway Ave.
The suspect attempted to steal the victim's purse.
Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
