OXFORD - The Oxford Community Foundation's Investment Readiness Program (IRP) is offering thousands to organizations across the county.
They will be looking for eligible social enterprises that are working to improve Oxford County. The program is open to charities, non-profits, and co-ops as well, and they could receive between $10,000 and $75,000.
Applications for the IRP should be submitted by November 22 through the program’s website.
Louise Wardrop, Executive Director of Oxford Community Foundation says community wellbeing is their core purpose.
"In Oxford County, we are looking forward to seeing the IRP help successful applicants grow their impact even more."
Community Foundations of Canada created this $50 million national initiative which is funded by the Government of Canada. Andrea Dicks, President of Community Foundations of Canada, says the IRP will help social enterprises across Canada grow, build their capacity to accept investors and participate in Canada’s growing social finance market.
"Social enterprise teams from coast to coast to coast are demonstrating how business can be done differently. They are daring to rethink business models to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive future. Community Foundations of Canada is in awe of the innovative projects being funded. We look forward to seeing the positive impacts of this next round of projects through the Investment Readiness Program."
