The team was moved to the Brantford Civic Centre was rebranded the Brantford Bulldogs in 2023 due to renovations at Hamilton's FirstOntario Centre. It was supposed to be a temporary move, but the team's new owners, Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman and his family, signed a 15-year deal with the city earlier late last year so the team can stay in Brantford.
