OPP dealing with ongoing issues on the 401 in the Woodstock area.
UPDATE: OPP say all lanes have reopened and charges are pending.
Another blast of winter and drivers not adjusting to the weather and road conditions has had Oxford OPP busy on the local highways this morning
Police have the eastbound lanes of the 401 closed from Putnam Road to Culloden Road after a transport truck crashed into the median. Debris from the median closed the left lane of westbound traffic as well.
Police are continuing to investigate that crash and say the highway should reopen by 4:30 pm.
A few hours later, police were dealing with a collision on the westbound 401, just east of the Blandford Road overpass.
One lane of traffic is moving through the area and police are advising motorists to expect delays and travel through the area slowly and with caution.
OPP are reminding drivers to please slow down as roads are snow covered and slippery. More snow is in the forecast for the afternoon with driving conditions possibly deteriorating through the afternoon.
