A $1000 Donation to the Perth District Health Unit will help pregnant women and young families purchase bagged milk coupons
The Perth District Health Unit is the proud recipient of a $1,000 donation from the Festival Jubilee Chapter IODE.
The funds from the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire will help pregnant women and young families purchase bagged milk coupons.
In a press release Public Health Nurse Heather Kane says the cash will help lots of children in the county.
"Receiving continued funding from the IODE enables the Health Unit to maintain this vital program and ease the financial challenges for families. This donation will provide Perth County families greater access to nutritious food and will help support healthy growth and development in children."
