A man has been charged with impaired driving after running a red and turning the wrong way onto the 401 off-ramp
WOODSTOCK - A Kincardine man is facing charges after an officer watched a Ford Explorer blow through a red light and then travel the wrong way down the 401 off-ramp.
The Woodstock Police officer saw the vehicle run the red light at Norwich and Juliana on Sunday. While following the vehicle, the officer was shocked as the driver turned east bound onto the west bound off-ramp at Norwich Ave. The officer was able to pull the vehicle over on the off-ramp where the driver was arrested for impaired driving. The 45 year old man registered twice the legal limit back at the station.
Police say there was also a 15 year old child in the vehicle with the drunk driver at the time.
