A warm-up theft when you start your vehicle to warm it up, but someone hops inside it and drives off.
WOODSTOCK - It's pretty cold out there, but Woodstock Police would like you to think twice before warming your vehicle up this morning.
Officers say you should never leave your vehicle unattended while it's running, because it could become the target of a warm-up theft.
That's when someone hops into your vehicle and drives off when you're inside your home getting ready to leave.
