An active investigation is currently underway as the Woodstock Police have Wilson Street closed.
UPDATE 2 – Woodstock Police have another update.
Wilson Street is now reopened to traffic, and police want to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the response efforts. As this remains an active investigation, no further updates will be provided.

UPDATE - The Woodstock Police have released more information regarding the active investigation.
Just before 11:30 a.m. today the Woodstock Police and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a train. Police say the incident happened on Wilson Street south of Hounsfield Street, and emergency crews responded right away and are currently on scene.
Again, the public is being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes to get around. Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
