The WPL building will be closed to the public and access to their stacks, computers, microfiche readers and photocopiers will not be available until further notice.
The Woodstock Public Library is returning to curbside pick-up service only starting today.
In a release, the library states they are making this move due to a dramatic in the number of known active COVID-19 cases in Woodstock, a reduced capability to conduct testing and tracing, and a growing pressure on staff availability due to COVID-19 and childcare issues.
The library building will be closed to the public and access to their stacks, computers, microfiche readers and photocopiers will not be available.
Library management will continue to monitor the local situation. The plan is to return in-library services as soon as the conditions allow.
You can continue to place holds on items online and pick them up at the front door.
The Library will also be doing virtual programming for all ages. They also have a digital collection of e-books, downloadable audio books and music, e-magazines and e-graphic novels are always available to patrons.
You can find more information on the library web site here or by calling WPL at 519-539-4801.
