Heath Minister and Deputy Premier Sylvia Jones was in the Friendly City on Monday.
WOODSTOCK - Ontario's Health Minister and Deputy Premier paid a visit to the Woodstock Hospital recently.
Sylvia Jones was there with Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman on Monday. They spoke with hospital officials about the importance of enhancing mental health and addictions services.
The hospital also got to show off some of it's technological advancements. This includes the CT scanner and the CORI surgical robot for hip and knee replacements.
In a statement on her social media pages, Jones said it was a wonderful visit, adding that the CT scanner has reduced procedure and processing time by up to 20 percent, therefore "leveraging innovation to deliver world-class care to local families."
Wonderful to be at #Woodstock Hospital with @erniehardeman.
